Reading- Reading is to be recorded in reading record or boom reader 3x per week. This contributes towards your child's green time each week. Please return folders onThursdaysso we can change the books and give them back on Fridays.
Communication- Important messages will be sent out via school ping. Please ensure you have access to school ping, any issues speak to the office.
Parents will all be provided with QR codes for the class seesaw account. On here you can see updates of what they have been learning. If you are having any issues accessing seesaw please ask someone from the class team for support. Seesaw messaging services will not be available this year. If you have any concerns or questions please speak to someone from your child's class team at pick up or call the office.
Beach school, forest school, swimming- At different points of the year your child may be attending different activities. Messages will be passed on through school ping about what is required for these activities as and when they are happening.
Autumn 1
For the first 2 weeks of September we will be focusing on ensuring the children have a smooth transition into their new classrooms. We will be focusing on building routines and relationships with the children so that they feel safe, happy and inspired to learn in year 1 and 2.
